My Mission
Is simply to support the American Worker and do what I can to keep America Manufacturing. I love well made products and I love America. Where an item is made has always been important to me. I am constantly searching for new items and thought a website would be the best way to keep my work organized while sharing it with others.
What this list is meant to be.
This is not just a comprehensive list of all American made goods. I am rather particular about the items that make it on this list. I look for well made items that I would be proud to own. Now, ‘Made in USA’ is certainly not what it used to be and many items are just assembled here. There will certainly be items on the links that are imported but this should make it easier for any one to find well made American products.
Why is has become so hard to find well made American made stuff.
Over the years it has become harder and harder to buy American made items. This is partly true since less consumer items are being made here but this has been accelerated by retail stores placing profits first. Over time, America forgets how to manufacture in general and our ability and efficiency decline. I do think it is very important that we retain the skills and supply chain to keep manufacturing in America. I certainly value an authentic brand and to me where an item is made says a lot about the company behind the brand.
